Molekule is a clean air company dedicated to eliminating indoor air pollution for everyone, everywhere. The company was born of a father’s desire to alleviate his son’s debilitating allergy and asthma symptoms.
In 1995, Dr. Yogi Goswami found that existing air filtration solutions for poor indoor air quality were fundamentally unable to solve the problem for his son. Instead, he turned to his own expertise and research in solar energy and asked whether a new approach to clean the air could be found. Then followed 20 years of research and development at the University of Florida and the University of South Florida, with support from the U.S. government including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Defense. After numerous publications and patents, the technology behind Molekule was born.
By Combining nanotechnology and scientific processes, Dr. Goswami developed a revolutionary way to eliminate contaminants from the air, and this innovative technology had FDA clearance. Molekule’s ability to completely eliminate volatile organic compounds (VOCs), mold, bacteria, viruses, and even ozone has been independently tested and verified by third-party laboratories, including the University of South Florida Clean Energy Research Center.
Today, Dr. Goswami’s son, Dilip, and daughter, Jaya, are co-founders along with him to bring his technology to everyone in the form of a physical product. Molekule, founded in 2014, shipped the first product, a molecular air purifier, in April of 2017. Molekule has already helped many beta testers and consumers breathe easier in their homes and has been shown to alleviate symptoms of allergies and asthma. Molekule is the first of its kind in the air purification market to completely eliminate the full spectrum of airborne contaminants.
The company’s vision is to expand the Molekule technology into business, airplanes, hospitals, and more, so that all indoor air pollution can effectively be eliminated, making the indoors safer and healthier for everyone. To learn more about Molekule, please visit molekule.com
