Laquila was founded in 1980, with a small 100m² store, focused on selling motorcycle parts, in Rio Grande do Sul. With determination and a vision of the future, they expanded to 200m² and, later, to an even larger space, adopting the wholesale model. After 12 years in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, they moved to Curitiba and in 1998 founded LAQUILA PEÇAS and became the largest distributor of motor parts and accessories in Latin America.

Our Company has always been recognized for the high quality of its products and its close relationship with customers, from customer service to delivery of the items, and in 2018, the CEOs, aware of technological advances and growing online demand, launched the innovative dropshipping modality, making Laquila a pioneer in this model in the motorcycle parts and accessories segment.

Dropshipping is a form of business in which the customer sells the company’s products without the need for physical stock. In other words, it is a system in which the company selling the product acts as an intermediary between the consumer and the supplier. The store receives the order, manages the payment, does all the customer service and sends the request to the supplier, who is responsible for preparing and sending the items.

The launch of dropshipping in the motorcycle segment was an instant success and in 2023, the company recorded an average of more than six thousand orders per month, achieving growth of more than 30% this year alone. “All this is the result of the efforts and dedication of various areas of the Company, including logistics, the sales team, information technology, product development, marketing and others. Providing agility and efficiency at all stages, from the arrival of the order to the delivery of the product to the customer.” Iael Trosman, Trade Director says.

This strategy not only boosted sales, but also solidified Laquila’s position in the market, as a Company that cares about its customers’ needs and is committed to providing an exceptional experience, focusing on quality, reliability and efficiency in all services.
