Arlequim Technologies S.A. – www.arlequim.com – is a Brazilian company headquartered in Curitiba with a nationwide presence. With ambitious international expansion plans, Arlequim aims to revolutionize how people use personal computers for work, business, and pleasure through an innovative Desktop as a Service (DaaS) model.
OUR HISTORY
Founded by the end of 2021, Arlequim created a new concept of virtual personal computers supported by key tech leading partners such as Citrix and VMWare in software virtualization; Microsoft in operating systems; Fortinet in security systems; DELL, Lenovo and Supermicro in servers and hardware. On top of that, Arlequim became the first Brazilian Cloud Service Provider (CSP) company to be part of the official NVIDIA channel, a global company that redefined computer graphics, industrial metaverse and ushered in modern AI.
Arlequim’s operations began in 2022 focusing initially on Corporate and Government customers. In its first year, the company was chosen through competitive procurement processes to serve the city halls of Osasco in the state of São Paulo, Curitiba in the state of Paraná and Florianópolis in the state of Santa Catarina. It also began an official partnership with Prodam, São Paulo’s technology partner responsible for Communication and Information Technology demands of all public-run municipal entities. In 2024 it started offering its services to individual consumers, especially professionals and gamers that need high-end performance computers.
OUR PURPOSE
Our team is driven by the purpose of democratizing the best digital experience and boosting development through new technologies. The idea is to create a new way of living in the digital world with lightness, joy, and simplicity.
Through an app installed in the user’s equipment, Arlequim makes the personal computer and all its content available on any device, in a concept known as anytime, anywhere, providing flexibility to user. The access point could be even basic or old computers, connected to any Internet which are transformed into new machines with high performance, ultrafast Internet, security and always up to date.
The company helps reduce environmental impact in cities, businesses, and households, with less production of electronic waste, as technology extends the useful life of current personal computers.
OUR FOUNDERS
Haroldo Jacobovicz and Noeli Isfer are engineers with a history of 30+ years in the technology sector, leading companies in complex systems development and telecommunications marketspaces. They founded Arlequim when they identified the urgency of a solution to meet the demand generated by the explosion of remote and hybrid models during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
At a time when the lack of access to equipment connected to the Internet, with stability and secure protocols in Brazil was a significant threat to Brazilian companies, workers, and students. Increasing the already high inequality in the country.
To act as CEO, the partners invited Mauricio Montilla, a market executive with 20+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategic consulting, and corporate finance. As the head of the company, he leads a team of around 300 employees.
