Since 2000, Brooksource has established and maintained lasting relationships with its clients, consultants, and the Milwaukee community to create unparalleled experiences. Brooksource is a trusted services provider that specializes in delivering Engineering and IT initiatives for Fortune 500 organizations and the public sector through Experience-Driven Staffing, Professional Services, as well as Project Patriot and Elevate, its Workforce Transformation programs. Although Brooksource has been helping organizations throughout Wisconsin in varying capacities from high-level advisory to production support, it is the organization’s innovative Workforce Transformation programs that truly sets it apart from other professional service providers.

Clients invest in Brooksource’s Elevate and Project Patriot programs to upskill talent, diversify workforces, and create seamless succession plans. In February of 2023, Brooksource started collaborating with the Milwaukee Tech Hub Coalition, a non-profit organization working inclusively to grow technology talent in the region, and AWS re/Start, a cohort-based workforce development training program, to train emerging Milwaukee-based IT professionals with the skills needed for careers in cloud computing. “As a Wisconsin native and graduate of UWM, it gives me a lot of joy to be able to grow the WI Tech community. Through our work with Elevate and AWS re/Start, we aren’t just changing the lives of our participants but also bringing more opportunities for promising careers to Milwaukee” shares Shelby Whalen, Brooksource’s Workforce Transformation Program Coordinator in Milwaukee. This 12-week technical training program comes at no cost to the learners and helps meet the growing demand for IT positions in the region, including careers with top organizations like American Family Insurance. However, the support for these emerging IT professionals does not end with graduation as Brooksource utilizes its partnerships with Fortune 500 organizations across the nation to help Elevate Consultants secure IT roles in cloud computing.

Ensuring both effective training and a smooth transition into a new role for these IT professionals is crucial to continue both building out this innovative collaboration and being able to offer this amazing opportunity to others explains Lauren Klauck, a Brooksource Account Executive who played an important role in bringing the AWS re/ Start to Milwaukee. “We are not only one of the few collaborating organizations responsible for piloting the AWS re/Start program in Milwaukee, but also to the US, so we understand that there are a lot of eyes on us. That comes with a bit of pressure, but a lot more excitement as we grow the value our services bring to our partners, consultants, and the communities we serve” shares Lauren.

Brooksource not only prides itself on taking a relationship-focused approach to everything it does, but also credits this dedication as the reason behind its many successes. As Nico Costa, the Market Director for Brooksource Milwaukee, explains, “Whether we are upskilling the next generation of talent, helping one of our clients with a major business initiative, or even just working with community groups to improve the surrounding Milwaukee area, people are at the center of all that. And by making a point of crafting our service and programs to cater to each person’s unique needs and expectations, we can guarantee positive experiences with anyone we encounter.” As a certified partner for AWS, Salesforce, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and many other major technology alliances, Brooksource has the ability to provide specialized expertise and solutions for the unique technological landscapes of its clients’. However not every partnership with Brooksource has to be so business-centric to be valuable.

With ‘Service’ being a core value, Brooksource also strives to be a major supporter and advocate for various non-for-profit causes local to Milwaukee and the surrounding community. Each September, Brooksource hosts a charity golf outing benefiting Journey House, a local philanthropic organization that provides Adult Education, Workforce Readiness, Youth Development, and Family Engagement programs. Brooksource is also a major supporter of the Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce, partnering with the group to give job opportunities to Veterans looking to return to the civilian workforce. In September 2023, Brooksource presented over $50,000 to 11 different Veteran advocacy organizations, including the WI Veterans Chamber of Commerce, as part of the group’s ‘Eleven Days of Giving’ campaign.
