Pioneering Innovation in Biohealth
Nestled in the heart of America’s Midwest, BioForward Wisconsin represents Wisconsin’s vibrant biohealth sector which stands as a beacon of innovation and economic growth. A 501(c) 6 member association established in 1988 as the Wisconsin Biotechnology Association, the organization initially focused on biotechnology. It expanded its membership in 2002 to include medical device manufacturers, officially becoming BioForward Wisconsin in 2009. In 2016, due to the diverse and growing array of biotechnology and health related sectors, BioForward launched the term “biohealth industry” to encapsulate the diverse array of specialties within Wisconsin’s thriving industry.
