The World Trade Center (WTC) is the largest business network in the world and one of the most important associations of executives and entrepreneurs. It was created in the 1960s from a fair in Queens, New York City, by the Rockefeller family. Currently the WTC is present in 91 countries, with more than 15,000 professionals working in 321 cities across the planet.

Formed by different business groups (public and private), it is also very strong as a developer of real estate projects, with more than 190 iconic projects around the world.

Its main objective is to increase the competitiveness of companies, generate business, promote international trade, and disseminate best global practices, in addition to bringing innovation and investment to the cities and countries where they are located.

This international network is managed by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and all WTCs in the world operate in accordance with standards established by the association and develop their business according to three main business units: Real Estate Developments, International Trade and Business Club.

“We act as an international ecosystem to generate business for real estate investors, economic development agencies and international companies that wish to connect globally, under the aegis of a prestigious brand”, explains Daniella Abreu, president of WTC Curitiba, Joinville, Porto Alegre, Sinop and Brasília.

First World Trade Center in Southern Brazil
Curitiba was the first city in the south of the country to receive the WTC brand. Present in the capital of Paraná since 2012, the World Trade Center develops commercial opportunities for the region and improves the international business environment in the state.

Its events, unique and exclusive for members, encourage the exchange of experiences, relevant content, and qualified networking, providing a singular business environment. Furthermore, the connection to the WTCA global network allows the associates to interact directly with any other World Trade Center on the planet.

WTC Curitiba has a strong and active Business Club, based on competitiveness groups, which bring together executives and leaders to debate topics such as: taxes, digital acceleration, ESG, mergers and acquisitions, and people and culture. In addition, it also has Real Estate and Investor Forums and a group dedicated exclusively to women – The WTC Woman.
