Taurus Helmets is a Brazilian company pioneer in the manufacture of helmets in Brazil. It has been in the market for over 40 years and has
established itself as the largest in the segment, with a market share of around 50%. It has national sales coverage with more than 12,000 points of sale, as well as e-commerce, and exports to Latin America, the USA, Europe, and Asia.
The company uses all its experience and strict quality standards to our factor process. Taurus Helmets has five brands in its portfolio: San Marino – the best-selling helmet brand in Brazil, Joy23, Zarref, Wind, and Urban Helmets. Urban Helmets has gone beyond the motorcycle
universe and introduced the company to the world of fashion and the clothing and accessories segment.
The value at the heart of the company is the pioneering spirit. The San Marino brand, the market leader in sales, was the first to achieve INMETRO certification (Main Brazilian standard and safety certification). It was also the first helmet with an exclusive automatic visor system.
Also, a forerunner in the online universe, Taurus Helmets was the first helmet company in the country to set up a D2C e-commerce. As well as covering the entire national territory, it has also launched a website in the USA. There are a total of 4 e-commerce channels, plus marketplaces.
With innovation as one of the company’s pillars, investment in new technologies is a constant. In 2023, the company launched the world’s
first helmet made of graphene. In partnership with the University of Caxias do Sul and the nanotechnology company Z-nano, the “Graph-X” (Taurus Helmets Trade Mark) formula was developed. This new technology, when used in the helmet construction, improves its thermal
and acoustic performance and impact absorption, making it safer for the end consumer.
In the same year, the company opened its own visor factory, inside main premises.
“We will continue to be the first to adopt new technologies and practices so we can continue to occupy leadership in our segment. Innovation has always been our driving force. If it has brought us this far, it will lead us to a very promising future,” says Carlos Andre De Laurentis, CEO of Taurus Helmets.) In this way, the company continues to expand and growth.
