It is well known that agribusiness is one of the sectors responsible for sustaining Brazil’s trade balance and feeding the world. Its importance ranges from small rural producers to the agro-industries, with a turnover of 640 billion dollars in 2023.

Almir Meinerz, CEO

A pioneer in the development of end-to-end technological solutions for agribusiness, SPRO Group is a business group founded 15 years ago in the state of Paraná.

The group maintains an innovation center in Curitiba, where its headquarters is located, bringing together several technology companies that develop solutions for the agro sector.

A story that drives technology in agribusiness
With a strategic focus on agribusiness since its foundation, the group began with the mission of bringing innovation and greater efficiency into agribusiness, a sector that has always been part of Almir Meinerz’s life. He, a son of farmers from the interior of Paraná State and today the group’s CEO. A story that is now consolidated with operations in 11 of the 40 largest agribusiness companies in Brazil and with even greater growth perspectives for the coming years.

Solutions in the agro-industry
The SPRO Group is specialized in the implementation of SAP’s ERPs and has accumulated experience in a wide range of areas, such as agro-industry, cooperatives, trading, cereal, fertilizers and seed companies. In agribusiness, the group presents cases in various areas, such as commodity origination and risk, breeding, livestock, supply sales, barter, agrochemicals and retail.

Solutions for rural producers
SPRO Group also operates with disruptive solutions for rural producers. In the field, they have access to a platform developed with state-of-the-art technologies based on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data and Cloud Data. There are weather stations and intelligent sensors that collect data in real time.

All these solutions are integrated into a complete platform, eProdutor, developed for the financial, fiscal and zootechnical management of the property. The result is greater control in real time, better cost management and planning, helping the producer to run his business more efficiently and make decisions based on historical data.

Being one of SAP’s biggest partners in agribusiness, the group has signed partnerships with other major players, such as AWS – to offer its customers cloud infrastructure solutions; and Thomson Reuters, focused on tax solutions.

By adding partners’ technologies to its portfolio, the SPRO group is proud to be a strong ally in the growth of agribusiness in Brazil.
