In Curitiba, highlights are the “Bem-Vindo com Amor” Project, which welcomes elderly individuals at the Pequeno Cotolengo Health Complex, providing specialized care and maintenance to ensure the safety and health of the residents. Additionally, the Children and Adolescents Fund – Right to Life, in collaboration with the Hospital Pequeno PrĂncipe, focuses on scientific health research, acquisition of high-cost equipment, and education for pediatricians and healthcare professionals.
As part of its efforts and commitment to sustainability, energy transition, and contributing to the local community, ExxonMobil plays an essential role in Curitiba, investing in scientific research and innovation through collaboration and support for educational institutions and Innovation Hubs, such as Hotmilk, the largest Innovation Hub in the South of the country. In 2023, the company announced its support for the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) signing two research projects, one to develop a solution based on artificial intelligence and natural language processing for revenue management area, and another one for co-liquefaction of biomass for biofuels production.
