The Condor Connect accelerator has been working for over 4-years leading to growth and investing in the acceleration of startups focused on retail and trends. Today, there are nine businesses in acceleration and six in VC investments. It found Curitiba’s innovation ecosystem the ideal place to consolidate its operation, adding value and becoming a reference for the Pinhão Valley in innovation, governance and startups. Led by an incredible innovative mind, through its CEO “Kauana Yrina”, Condor Connect revolutionized open innovation and created the COMO method of innovation, an original method that promotes human transformation through knowledge, audacity, mindset and of the deconstruction of paradigms. The accelerator believes that innovation concerns people, and that technology is just a tool.
Formed by a lean and highly qualified team, the accelerator created a board of Mentors and Investors uniting outstanding businesspeople who have already had success on their entrepreneurial journey with startups, and who are already pushing their startups towards scalability, thus bringing the experience of large businesses with the agile management of startups. With this, the accelerator intends to offer support for startups going through the entire journey, from MVP to consolidating their operation in the market. With the application of the inverted pitch, the accelerator captures the market pain of large companies and places startups to validate the proofs of concept of their solutions, adding open innovation to those demands and validating their business model. Near the Pinhão Valley, the accelerator works with different players in collaboration and cooperation, finding great partners for business, events and networking.
One example is the partnership with the Federal University of ParanáUFPR, which resulted in the hybrid Innovation Management course. With 11 classes carried out, this collaborative course has already operated in 25 states and six countries, helping to train innovation agents.
