BIM START, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Curitiba-PR, aims to promote the use of new technologies in various engineering sectors. Equipped with state-of-the-art terrestrial scanning, aerial mapping, and georeferencing equipment, the company provides reality capture solutions based on the BIM methodology. Its specialized team digitizes and creates virtual models of diverse environments, structures, and systems. Since its inception, BIM START has stood out as one of the leading Brazilian companies in reality capture, prioritizing technical and commercial excellence in its projects.
WHAT WE DO:
BIM START’s proposal is to eliminate the need for the client to go to the field by delivering an exact replica of the field to the client! The process consists of 3 stages:
FIELD SURVEY:
Laser scanning to capture three-dimensional details of the physical environment;
DATA PROCESSING:
Integration of collected field data into a cohesive and aligned set, with the removal of visual noise or interference; PROJECTS: Virtual representations faithful to the real environment, which can be used for advanced analysis, simulations, verifications, and decision-making;
NEXT STEPS:
BIM START is one of the companies included in the Tecnoparque Program of the Curitiba Development Agency. This program drives the development of innovative projects in technology-based companies in Curitiba-PR, Brazil. The program allows for the exemption of municipal taxes so that these resources can be applied to research, development, and innovation projects, aiming to expand the economic potential of the company.
The project proposed by BIM START for Tecnoparque is called BS Modeler: an initiative that aims to automate as many steps as possible within the process through artificial intelligence to improve execution speed and result standardization.
