I have been involved in the 3D computer graphics field for over 25 years and have helped build tools that simplify workflows for creators. Early on in my career, I came to understand that in any industry, creators are the key players driving progress and different perspectives forward. Creators have the ability to innately understand how to inspire expression and reasoning through experience and design.

In this way, creators will be an essential part of how the metaverse will take shape and grow, ultimately envisioning what will become the experience internet in our mission to further human connection and understanding.

I have always been inspired by technology advancements and the significant and positive impact they have on improving our daily lives. There are new forms of expression, immersive ways of experiencing content and deeper levels of learning that are taking shape. The metaverse has the power to transform everyday human-technology behavior into an experiential dimension. The metaverse will significantly enhance our ability to learn, understand and move humanity forward.

Along my journey working with 3D technology and creators, I realized that 3D visualization was the key to understanding, experimenting, simulating and sharing. There is not a solution more efficient than this new immersive 3D internet layer to visualize, share, understand and deliver experiences. From a sensory and visualization perspective, I am excited to see how hardware continues to rapidly advance and enable people to move and interact in the metaverse. Today, anyone can experience content on a 1:1 level in virtual reality or they can overlay digital content in the physical world via augmented reality.

Soon, metaverse destinations will be accessed and shared ubiquitously via any device. Whatever the experience is, the power lies in the hands of the creators who will inspire reflection and deeper understanding utilizing technology ultimately driving progress for all of humanity.
