The story of Obra Prima is an account of how a personal need can be transformed into an innovative solution that revolutionizes an industry. It all began when Wilson, the founder and director of the company, embarked on the journey of building his own house. Faced with challenges from the small construction company he hired, he identified a crucial gap in construction management.

Maxwel Cavallin, Founder of Obra Play marketplace

The idea emerged during a conversation with the builder, who revealed the difficulty in finding an affordable and user friendly management software. Determined to fill that gap, Wilson laid the foundations for what would later become Obra Prima.

Developed to eliminate the complexities associated with construction management, Obra Prima offers a comprehensive solution for small and medium-sized builders. Its purpose is clear: to optimize time, resources, ensure financial control, and enable real-time monitoring, from the initial project to its completion.

Today, with over 1600 clients, it was a strategic investment by Senior Sistemas in 2018, and Obra Prima quickly stood out as more than just a software provider. It became a complete ecosystem, connecting architects, builders, suppliers, service providers, and even end customers.

A significant turning point in the company’s trajectory was the recent acquisition of Obra Play idea, a startup that operates its own marketplace, connecting various sectors of the construction industry. This merger not only strengthened Obra Prima’s position in the market, but also reinforced its commitment to providing a complete solution for the construction sector.

Wilson Pacheco Jr., CEO of Obra Prima, highlighted the synergy between the two companies:

“This acquisition makes complete sense within our strategy of meeting the needs of the entire construction sector.”

The union of the two startups not only expanded the customer base, with over 60 thousand projects and R$ 15 billion in purchases managed, but also brought a notable competitive advantage. The strategy of creating a robust ecosystem for the construction industry is closer to becoming a tangible reality.

Maxwel Cavallin, founder of Obra Play, now assumes a strategic role at Obra Prima, leading the marketplace strategy uniting the two companies. He shares the vision of providing solutions that improve the processes in the construction industry as a whole.

The merger of the startups exemplifies the power of innovation driven by personal experiences. Unmet needs generate solutions that now consolidate the Brazilian construction scenario.
