The National Center For Simulation-Leader In Supporting And Expanding The Modeling And Simulation Community

INNOVATIONS

OF THE WORLD

FOR TODAY'S BIG THINKERS

The Orlando-based National Center for Simulation (NCS) is the voice of Florida’s Modeling, Simulation and Training (MS&T) Industry whose vision is to be the internationally recognized leader in supporting and expanding the modeling and simulation community.

A not-for-profit trade association with government, academic and industry members operating as an open consortium, the NCS mission is to promote, protect and set the conditions to grow the $6.0 billion MS&T Industry in Florida. As an organization, NCS serves as an important link between the military, other government at all levels, MS&T industry companies, and academia engaged in research, development, and the application of simulation technology.

Additionally, NCS supports advocacy/outreach & information, technology transfer, Science/Technology/Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) education & workforce development and business development opportunities for its government, industry, and academic partners. NCS also serves as a bridge between the “traditional” defense simulation organizations and other simulation-related communities of interest (e.g. education, medical/healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, energy, architecture/engineering & construction, digital media, game development, and entertainment). In so doing, NCS works to create synergy for the advancement of modeling and simulation by bringing together cutting-edge technologies and the industry sectors that can benefit from them.
