SovTech was created with the purpose of creating custom software for VC backed start-ups and blue-chip clients, in an attempt to catapult their businesses into the fast-paced digital sphere.
SovTech was founded in 2011, by our CEO Gerald Neves and has grown into a global competitor in the custom software development industry. The company began with the intention to make the business of software development faster, easier, and better than ever.
Gerald began as a software engineer, with the innate passion to try to solve problems within technology. He experienced a sense of enlightening when attending an event in Silicon Valley, where they would design, build, and launch products to market within one weekend.
He realized the possibility and importance of creating innovative software solutions at a rapid pace. Initially, there were challenges in convincing organizations to buy software in this innovative way of delivery, however, SovTech has since grown exponentially and we are now positioned as a leader in the software engineering sphere.
The mission of the establishment is to become the biggest software development company from Africa. Our journey is in full motion as SovTech’s global expertise has established blue-chip clients across the world and has solidified roots in three continents, with offices in Dubai, London, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Nairobi, all while having the adamant intention of expanding in the very near future.

The company provides clients across all industries with market-leading A.I., Blockchain, Mobile, and Cloud-based technological development solutions and services, in a manner that allows organizations to bring innovation faster to market than ever before.
One of our major accomplishments of 2020 is our distinct partnership with the Royal Family of Dubai. We will be working with the Private Office to relieve the demand for efficient, effective, and promising solutions in the UAE.
