Sherbrooke Innopole is the para-municipal economic development organization for the industrial and tertiary-engine sectors mandated and financed by the Ville de Sherbrooke. Our goal is to energize the business environment, ensure the influence of Sherbrooke and its businesses on the local, national, and international scenes, and develop existing and future businesses within its five key sectors, namely: Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing, Information Technologies, Clean Technologies, Life Sciences, Micro-Nanotechnologies, and Quantum Technologies. With this sector-based economic development strategy, Sherbrooke Innopole has stimulated and boosted its city and region’s economic growth and influence.
Both rooted in the present and looking to the future, Sherbrooke Innopole also demonstrates leadership in terms of sustainable development. We participated in the launch of Synergie Estrie, a circular economy project aimed at better waste management and more sustainable development, in partnership with the MRC des Sources.
