ProviderTrust is one of those entrepreneur stories in which leaders focus their efforts on a niche market in a massive industry. Through hard work, a creative and talented team, and with some luck, they have built a great company that has won numerous workplace culture awards and is consistently on the Inc. 5000 list.
Within the healthcare industry, ProviderTrust works with providers to ensure they are in total compliance with the Office of Inspector General’s exclusion lists, as well as other federal and state exclusion lists. We help ensure all our clients’ team members are properly licensed, and that they haven’t employed someone who has federal or state sanctions against them. Our office is based in Nashville, Tenn, and we also have team members in the United Kingdom and Singapore.
ProviderTrust takes pride in cultivating a place where talented individuals want to work. We understand team members are with each other as much as or more than their own families, so we place a special emphasis on creating a healthy environment that provides work/life balance. If you visit ProviderTrust at 5 p.m., people are gone! We’re one of the fastest-growing software companies in the country without sacrificing our team members’ health and well-being.
We subscribe to the adage that we don’t live to work, but instead work to live. Creating great solutions for our clients is important, but encouraging our team members to follow their passions and sustain deep relationships is just as vital to our success. ProviderTrust might be data-centric, but we’re driven by our values. We embody those values through daily team-led training and storytelling opportunities. We encourage our staff to work efficiently, but also take time for what they need outside the office. Whether it’s a fulfilling side project or time with family, we want our ProviderTrust team to know we support them.
We encourage our team members to get involved in the Nashville community, and lead by example through pursuits in affordable housing, professional sports and volunteerism. We’re very cognizant of the need to remain competitive when it comes to attracting and retaining talent. That can’t happen solely within the walls of ProviderTrust! We’re never going to produce leaders if we can’t keep them around long enough to develop. As a result, we have had very few team members leave (largely due to relocation), and 90 percent have come back! It’s a special place that puts the team members first.
From the beginning of our organization, our values, benefits and compensation plans have been created around our team members’ mental, physical and emotional health. Our innovation at ProviderTrust always starts with our culture and how we equip our teams with critical tools in an irresistible environment that allows them to live out their passions. Innovation comes through allowing talented, self-motivated people to do what they do best. Our people have the raw ability; it’s our job at ProviderTrust to ensure they have an environment where they can thrive.
