For 20 years, Prompt, an industrial research sectoral group (Regroupement sectoriel de recherche industrielle – RSRI) mandated by the Québec Government, has been reinforcing collaboration and funding high-impact R&D projects. We are pioneers of collaborative innovation model, where front-line entrepreneurial players work with stakeholders in science and academia to invent the future – together.
They work with us: “As a researcher at Université Laval, Prompt’s support allows me to develop the most ambitious projects and work closely with innovative companies.” – Benoît Gosselin – Researcher, Canada Research Chair in Smart Biomedical Microsystems – Université Laval
Our team of experts in this network and in innovation skillfully brings together vital ingredients to create innovative, inspiring and high-impact projects. Our efforts make a rich ecosystem of research-driven universities, local businesses, and large global corporations. They come from different ecosystems in new technologies (hardware, software), 5G to quantum, AI to cybersecurity, UX, telecommunication, digital media, and more, in all verticals and sectors.
Through the meetings and collaborative spaces that are created, we empower people to make their dreams a reality, while building local expertise, including through workforce training, and creating long-term wealth.
Since its creation in 2003, Prompt, with the support of the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie but also the federal
government, has financed around 500 projects, for a total project value higher than $370 million.
“This generous funding, along with the support we received during the process, has allowed us to solve many problems. It also allows us to accelerate the marketing process of our solution to reach the next level. […]” – Zarah Zangeneh – Founder and Chief Operating Officer, VitalTracer
