INNOVATION Manitoba

PregEase Inc. is a Canadian MedTech company simplifying fertility and vaginal healthcare by focusing on practical, affordable, at-home devices instead of complex, high-cost interventions. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the company has developed women’s health solutions that target two large, adjacent markets: the global fertility market, projected to surpass USD 93 billion by 2035, and the rapidly growing vaginitis and vaginal infection treatment market, expected to approach USD 48 billion over a similar timeframe. Together, PregX™ and Vecovery™ position PregEase at the intersection of natural conception support and improved vaginal therapy outcomes within a combined addressable market nearing USD 100 billion.

Founder and Philosophy

The company was founded by Ayaz Noor after more than 7.5 years of infertility and three pregnancy losses, including one at four months. This journey exposed a major gap: couples often have no affordable, non-invasive options before escalating to procedures such as IUI or IVF. Instead of pursuing high-tech complexity, Noor focused on simple, mechanical, and user-centered solutions that integrate seamlessly into everyday life.

What began as a deeply personal struggle eventually became the foundation for PregEase.

He later became a father of two boys, both conceived using PregX™, reinforcing the company’s belief that not every effective solution needs to be complicated.

“PregEase was built on the belief that practical solutions can still create life-changing outcomes,” Noor said. “Couples deserve options that are affordable, accessible, and grounded in logic before turning to more invasive procedures.”

From Personal Challenge to Purpose-Driven Innovation

For Ayaz Noor, PregEase was never intended to become a company. It began as a search for answers during one of the most difficult periods of his life. After years of infertility and multiple pregnancy losses, he experienced firsthand the emotional toll, uncertainty, and financial burden that millions of couples face while trying to start a family.

Throughout that journey, Noor encountered a healthcare landscape where many available fertility options were expensive, invasive, or difficult to access. While advances in reproductive medicine have helped countless families, he found himself asking a simple question: was there a practical solution that could help couples earlier in their fertility journey before requiring clinical intervention?

That question became the foundation of PregEase.

Rather than focusing on complex technology for the sake of innovation, the company was built around a different philosophy: identifying overlooked challenges and solving them through elegant, user-centered design. The goal was not to replace existing fertility treatments, but to create accessible options that could complement them and provide couples with additional choices.

Developed in Manitoba, PregEase reflects the province’s growing reputation for healthcare innovation. The company has benefited from Manitoba’s supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem, enabling it to advance from concept to clinical validation while maintaining strong connections to the local community.

Today, that same philosophy continues to guide the company as it expands beyond fertility into broader women’s health applications. Whether helping couples pursue natural conception or improving the effectiveness of vaginal therapies, PregEase is focused on solving real-world problems that impact quality of life.

For Noor, the mission remains deeply personal. Every milestone achieved by the company serves as a reminder that innovation is often born from lived experience. By transforming a personal challenge into a healthcare innovation, PregEase aims to help more individuals access practical solutions while bringing meaningful advances in women’s health to market.

PregX: Supporting Natural Conception

PregX™ is PregEase’s first product, an affordable, easy-to-use, at-home, non-invasive medical device designed to reduce semen leakage after intercourse and help keep semen closer to the cervix, supporting sperm survival and natural conception. By addressing a basic but often overlooked mechanical problem, PregX™ aims to provide couples with a logical, low-barrier option before pursuing invasive or costly fertility treatments.

The device is currently undergoing clinical validation in collaboration with St. Boniface Hospital Research. Studies are evaluating safety, usability, and performance in couples experiencing unexplained infertility as PregEase advances toward regulatory pathways in Canada and the United States. The company believes this combination of clinical validation and user-centered design positions PregX™ as a differentiated solution within the fertility market.

Vecovery: Enhancing Vaginal Treatment

Building on its fertility focus, PregEase is expanding into broader women’s health with Vecovery™, a device under development to address medication leakage during treatment for vaginal infections. Today, creams, pills, and suppositories can leak after application, potentially reducing the effective dose and prolonging recovery.

Vecovery™ is designed to improve medication retention, enhance treatment efficiency, and deliver a more comfortable, predictable patient experience. By pairing PregX™ and Vecovery™, PregEase addresses two distinct but related needs in reproductive health: helping couples conceive naturally and supporting more effective treatment outcomes for women.

Combined Market and Go-to-Market Strategy

Strategically, PregEase is targeting early-stage fertility support and vaginal treatment adherence, segments that sit upstream of invasive procedures yet remain significantly underserved despite the scale of the underlying markets.

Patents have been filed, clinical validation is underway, and clear regulatory pathways are defined for both Canada and the United States. The U.S. represents the largest single fertility market and a strong launchpad for direct-to-consumer healthcare models.

The company’s go-to-market strategy is to combine direct-to-consumer channels and clinical partnerships to accelerate adoption and build long-term brand trust.

Building a Women’s Health Platform

PregEase’s broader strategy is to systematically identify overlooked inefficiencies across reproductive and vaginal health and solve them through elegant, easy-to-use devices rather than complex therapies.

By starting with PregX™ and Vecovery™, the company is laying the foundation for a scalable portfolio that can expand into multiple indications within women’s health. In doing so, PregEase aims not only to launch individual products but to redefine how early-stage fertility and vaginal health support are delivered, making them more accessible, practical, and aligned with the realities of everyday life.

By combining lived experience with practical innovation, PregEase is helping redefine how early-stage fertility and women’s healthcare can be approached while building a trusted Canadian brand at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and human-centered design.
