Nperspective provides fractional and interim Chief Financial Officer, Management, Advisory and Strategic services to its client companies in a broad range of industries. While many financial professionals provide executive services in their day-to-day jobs, it takes a certain level of passion to work with companies of many different sizes in multiple industries, where levels of internal expertise vary significantly and where learning is an everyday experience.
The Nperspective team is a group of professionals who have a passion for learning new businesses, applying years of knowledge and expertise, and building companies. Each member of our team brings a portfolio of experience over a wide range of industries and companies, domestic and international from start-ups to some of the largest companies in the world. Alma Kadragic, Ph.D. – Director of Business Development
Dr. Alma Kadragic joined Nperspective in March 2017. She has been a journalist, researcher, media specialist, and entrepreneur in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. In Miami since 2013, she is a past president of the Miami chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She spent 16 years with ABC News in New York, Washington D.C., London, and Warsaw as writer, producer, and bureau chief before starting Alcat Communications International, a public relations agency with blue chip clients.
She holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the City University of New York. Beginning in 1990, she worked with aspiring entrepreneurs through the Central Florida Innovation Corporation; the Disney/SBA Entrepreneurship Center in Orlando; created and taught a course on entrepreneurship at the University of Wollongong in Dubai; wrote articles on entrepreneurship in Poland and the UAE; and lectured with Tamakkan, an entrepreneur self-help organization in the UAE.
Kadragic has served on many boards including American Women in Radio and Television (President, New York City, Orlando chapters), Polish PR Association (co-founder and first president), Middle East PR Association, American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, Fulbright Commission in Poland, and Entrepreneur Advisory Board of the Disney/SBA National Entrepreneur Center).
Seth Asofsky, MBA – Principal
Seth Asofsky offers a unique blend of banking and business experience with emerging, technology-oriented companies. He was a corporate and investment banker for more than 18 years before joining his client, Planet Payment, to build an emerging business into a global, NASDAQ-listed company, serving first as CFO for 6 years and then as SVP, acting in COO and sales functions, for 7 more years.
During Asofsky’s tenure as CFO, he was responsible for accounting and corporate finance functions, raising more than $40 million in private equity and convertible debt placements, and completing a $10 million IPO placement and admission to the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market.
He directed, coordinated, and approved all aspects of the accounting lifecycle, including cash flow management, financial projections and statements preparation and Board presentations. He also managed investor relations and investment banker and research analyst relationships. Asofsky holds an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and graduated cum laude with a BS dual degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication and Whitman School of Management. He served on the Board of Directors for Island Harvest Food Bank in New York before assuming his current role as a member of the organization’s Monsignor Thomas Hartman President’s Council.
Gary Cuccia, CPA, CMA – Principal
Gary Cuccia is an experienced business professional with expertise in finance developed over many years of work with banks and other firms in capital markets. Most of his work experience was in Wall Street. From 1985-1999 when he directed financial reporting for an NYSE broker/dealer with more than $19 billion in customer assets and then became senior vice-president and controller, Cuccia was deeply involved in developing financial strategy and ensuring execution of finance functions for all businesses, managing a staff of 50. His first position as CFO came in 2005 with an e-commerce venture-backed startup.
The next was in the wealth management affiliate of a major American bank. In 2015 Cuccia arrived in Miami as CFO and COO for the private banking division of an international bank, responsible for finance functions of wealth management, investment advisory, and life insurance companies. With professional licenses as a CPA from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (license being updated in 2019) and CMA from the Institute of Management Accountants, and years of corporate experience, Cuccia brings expertise in financial analysis & reporting, strategic planning, capital raising, investor relations, mergers & acquisitions, project management, and systems integrations. His Bachelor of Business Administration is from Pace University, New York City.
Carmen Diaz, MBA – Principal
Carmen G. Diaz is a seasoned executive with three decades of experience in strategic finance, accounting, consulting and management. She has particular strengths in financial reporting systems, investment banking, profit and loss reporting (P&L), financial planning, and long term budgetary oversight. With broad international experience, she has a strong understanding of various markets throughout North America, South America, Caribbean and Europe.Diaz has extensive experience in leadership management roles in the banking, luxury retail, duty-free shops and technology industries.
At her first position after college at the New York Federal Reserve Bank, she analyzed statistics that supported the Bank’s decisions. As Finance Director for several companies, she provided the executive team with timely financial statements, ongoing cash flow projections, analysis of accounting and finance operations, and designed and maintained financial reporting structures.
Her proficiency with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 benefits companies by evaluating all aspects of their internal control systems. She typically assists with the identification of key risks and the design of mitigating controls, documentation of procedures and pre-audit testing to evaluate compliance. Diaz earned an MBA from Simmons University in Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Business Management from Long Island University in Brooklyn.
Anthony Foscolos, RPA (Canada) – Principal
Anthony Foscolos offers clients extensive financial leadership support. Over a 25-year career, he has served as CFO, COO, and CEO, giving him a unique perspective in analyzing financial information and the ability to work with leadership teams to synergize meaningful action plans, contributing significantly to the growth of several businesses. Results have been impressive and consistent, with year over year growth of +30 % over periods in excess of 10 years. Once, he increased revenues in seven years from zero to $30 million.

As a professional public accountant and a compliance auditor, he became well rounded in several industries, including retail, professional services, health services, manufacturing, production, engineering and construction. He also developed technology and research-based businesses within these sectors and has a track record of success in creating and growing foreign subsidiaries in international markets including Canada, South America, Asia, Europe and Australia.
Completing post-secondary education at the University of Ottawa (Bachelor of Economics) in 1992, at the age of 25, Foscolos joined the Canada Revenue Agency and served as Alberta’s youngest corporate tax compliance auditor. In 2001 he became a Registered Public Accountant (R.P.A.) in Alberta and opened a public accounting and tax firm in Calgary. Over the past 17 years, he has served on the board of directors of six private companies and also as treasurer at his local church. Anthony Foscolos now proudly calls Florida his home and lives here with his wife. He continues to follow his passion in helping successful small businesses grow into the mid-market range.
Joe Pivinski, CPA – Principal
Joe Pivinski is an operations and financial executive with 30 years of successful experience serving as CFO of domestic and international private and public companies in real estate, energy/biofuels, construction, consulting, e-commerce and professional services.
At organizations from development stage to $300M in revenue, his extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulatory reporting and compliance requirements and his ability to efficiently manage public company financial reporting have resulted in increased shareholder value in the five OTC- and NASDAQ-listed companies he has served as CFO.
Pivinski has managed, structured, negotiated and executed fund-raising initiatives and liquidity events in capital markets including an international IPO, Private Placement debt offering, project-based ADC financing, Shareholders’ Rights Offering, cross-border Syndicated Debt Offering, Minority Interest Buyout and a management buyout in a Going Private transaction. He was U.S. task force leader in the worldwide merger of two public $4B companies and has served as a Board or Advisory Board Member of several organizations.
Pivinski holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Fordham University, New York City, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
