MIMs beginnings
Artificial intelligence and big data are transforming all industries, including life-science industries. However, to date, only a few life-science companies have adopted an efficient big data / AI policy. This low adoption rate is mainly due to the high technological challenges that you have to resolve. We customized our SAAS platforms to address
these challenges and move life-science companies to the next level.
Thus, in order to give a solution to these problematics, three experts in Integrative
Genomics, Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence, decided to combine their 30 years
cumulative experience and their expertise to create u201cMy Intelligent Machines (MIMs). It is a Montrealbased company founded in 2016 by Sarah Jenna, Abdoulaye Banire Diallo and Mickaël Camus.

MIMs Technology
MIMsOmic is built around an information technology that is a goal-oriented massive multiagent system. This AI manages massive amounts of knowledge in life sciences aggregated from public databases. MIMsOmic uses this knowledge and considers the data and associated metadata uploaded by the user to run the appropriate bioinformatics and machine learning algorithms to capture key insights, patterns and trends from data.
The user can also use semantic search to surf knowledge acquired by the AI. With MIMsOmic, life scientists can execute all the tasks required to transform data into actionable knowledge on their own, for a fraction of the actual cost of existing operations and time-efficient. To meet our client needs, our expert team build custom workflows and feed their knowledge management system both being operated through MIMsOmic.
Our Achievements
We establish ourselves as a leader AI company in life-sciences in Quebec, Canada and internationally. MIMs has been identified as part of the 10 tech companies in Montreal and Canada to watch in 2018 by the journal Betakit and by Microsoft within its Great Canadian Innovators 2018 Yearbook. Moreover, our CEO Sarah Jenna has been winning pitch competitions and has presented to over 15 panels such as TEDx, C-tribe and BIO in Boston to name a few. Our chief scientist Abdoulaye Baniru00e9 Diallo participated in many discussion panels and won many awards. His most prestigious award was the u201cNext Fellow Einstein 2018u201d in Kigali. This led him to be featured in TV5 Monde, Radio-Canada International, Le Point Afrique and New Times: Rwanda Leading Daily. Our CTO, Mickau00ebl Camus expert in AI was invited to be part of many panels on AI such as the Quebec Commercial Delegation.
