Providing resources to children to get access to knowledge in sustainability and innovation

MakingtheShift.org Foundation’s goal is to provide resources to children get access to knowledge in sustainability, innovation, art, social responsibility, education in science, technology, and entrepreneurship, that activates the mindset and builds skills in youth from under-resourced communities to ensure their success and to create a more secure, responsible, self-sustainable & vibrant society.

Early education programs that promote entrepreneurship and human development help to create sustainable environments. When a child is in any of our programs they are building a lifetime of skills and confidence. They learn about goal setting, decision making, team management, people skills, and business ethics—aspects essential to leadership, success, and life.

By putting their minds and energies to a project, children can overcome any challenge. There are no limitations in their minds. they can BE anything. they can DO anything. We help them build a lifetime of skills and confidence. Children connected to the World and to our Future.

52% of the world’s population is still not online. Even where people have access, they often do not subscribe to broadband because it is not affordable, or they lack the skills to use it. This problem is particularly acute in emerging markets. These young students can have e-learning tools online and mentors can engage students wherever they are in any place in the world.

Opportunities to children by having access to knowledge and science Labs and sensors, each child group is able to work together on an experiment. young students work with content and software designed for collaborative, joyful, self-empowered learning, to investigate ways to use technology to preserve their environment and engage other students to introduce personalized learning at a low cost.

Students can collaborate on activities with other students so they can learn from each other. They can share resources to children in their village or any country. share projects as their world expand and so does their future possibilities.

For children in our world nations, the education program is their way to a very different world than the one in which they live. 14% of the world’s population still lacks access to electricity, and another 3 billion rely on wood, charcoal, coal, and dung for heating and cooking. our Initiative inspires affordable off-grid energy sources to increase access and allow more people to participate in Climate change awareness.

"Computers are not magic but they will improve the education system. it’s thought that by integrating computer science and technology into the communities it will be easier for children to find learning materials online. The students are also able to create and collaborate in a local community so their families are also able to learn from the access of information”
