For more than 20 years we have been launching trends in communication in the Portuguese market and we are a reference in the PR sector, with many national and international awards. From an early age, Lift adopted an innovative consultancy and communication management methodology, based on the analysis of the Reputation of its client companies. To this end, the partnership with The Rep Trak – the most recognized global organization in the reputation area – was essential, allowing access to data with which Lift builds reputation strategies.

At Lift we believe that Corporate Reputation is a unique strategic tool for managing support behaviors of the main stakeholders and, ultimately, for achieving business goals. It is the tool per excellence to be strategic in marketing and communication. Knowing what multiple stakeholders think of companies is the best way to inform and clarify whether perceptions do correspond to reality or not. Or correct existing practices if the perceptions are negative but correspond to reality.

In fact, running a reputation-oriented company is the only way to manage sustainably. And managing sustainably means: having the best products or the best services; managing towards innovation; promoting the best work environment; being socially responsible; having a clear and fair corporate governance model; having an exceptional leadership; and without forgetting that companies also need to be profitable. In short, there are seven rational and critical dimensions to stimulate emotional bonds: liking, admiring, trusting and estimating. And it is these emotions that generate, induce and guarantee the support behaviors that all companies aspire to and need: purchase intentions, recommendation, working for, investing or simply giving the benefit of the doubt. Because reputation is not just an economic multiplier. It is also an insurance policy.

In the path of innovation, in 2019 we founded the Rep.Circle – The Reputation Platform, with the aim of generating knowledge and making Portuguese managers aware of the competitive advantage that corporate reputation represents for organizations. As reputation management intends to influence support behaviors, in all its dimensions, the relevance of this issue is totally transversal to organizations.

Since then, the Rep.Circle has invested in research and promoted the sharing of more and better knowledge about Reputation, providing conditions for greater reflection and dialogue on the construction of Reputation. It is also its objective to enhance the commitment and greater involvement of national corporate leaders in the management of reputation, inspiring good practices. This goal led to the creation of the Circle of Leaders, a group of highly qualified professionals willing to contribute to a reputation-oriented society through the production of studies and barometers that are a powerful management tool for the various leaders of an organization: marketing and communications, human resources, innovation & strategy, sustainability, governance, finance and, in particular, Top Management.
