Founded in 2017, the Maison de l’innovation sociale (MIS) is an NFP whose mission is to eliminate the obstacles between an idea with a positive social and environmental impact and its implementation.

At MIS, we are interested in the precursor stage of a social innovation. We help very early-stage projects with high-impact potential, filling a support gap in the innovation ecosystem. We believe we can catalyze maximum impact in this phase of the social innovation life cycle.

At MIS, we want to :

: shed light on the root causes of persistent social and environmental problems, 

: generate a more significant number and diversity of ideas for remedying them, 

: remove the barriers to their deployment, 

: promote and democratize social innovation as an essential lever for social and ecological transition;  

Today’s complex and pressing societal issues stand in the way of collective and individual prosperity and call for ingenious and sustainable solutions. They are prompting institutions and organizations to rethink how they do things to meet the needs of their communities. Thinking outside the box while avoiding creating new problems also requires unprecedented alignment and convergence between the stakeholders committed to the socio-ecological transition. The MIS can help you break these deadlocks and support you in your innovation process.
