ESPAT (Esports Pixels and Technology) is a technology company that is utilizing the legacy digital media licensing model to help gaming and esports IP holders monetize their digital assets. Through computer vision and machine learning technology, the company is converting traditional licensed assets into interactive, commerce-enabled experiences for viewers/consumers. As the first photo and video licensing platform dedicated solely to the gaming and esports industry, ESPAT has photographed the biggest esports events around the world, with its images generating more than one billion impressions globally. ESPAT’s global distribution partnerships with gaming organizations like Riot Games, Misfits Gaming and Talon Esports provide an opportunity for content owners to scale the consumption of their content. With its content commerce offering, ESPAT is disrupting the legacy licensing model, shifting from licensing pixels to licensing commerce and consumer data. In doing so, the company is arming licensees (editorial outlets, brand marketers and independent content creators) with the tools to generate new advertising and affiliate marketing revenues through their platforms.

ESPAT was founded in 2018 by Ed Brooks, Mario Prosperino and Dante Simpson, each of whom brings a unique perspective from across the creative, licensing and sports /entertainment landscape. Ed Brooks is the visionary of ESPAT, with a strong background in design, technology and innovation at companies like WPP and the NFL. He is driving the future of ESPAT’s growth as Chief Product Officer. Mario Prosperino is a digital media licensing veteran, having spent more than 20 years at Getty Images and AP Photo, building and managing licensing partnerships with properties such as NASCAR and the NFL.

Today he serves as ESPAT’s Chief Revenue Officer. Dante Simpson brings a wealth of business development and marketing experience from his previous career at blue chip companies like Sony BMG and The Gucci Group. He now leads ESPAT’s marketing efforts as CMO. Finally, Matt Hill joined the team as CEO in February of 2021, after 20 years in the sports and entertainment world with the NFL, Major League Soccer and GMR Marketing. Matt’s background in business development, partnerships, marketing strategy and communications will help ESPAT achieve new heights. Together, they are carrying out ESPAT’s mission to unite the world, one pixel at a time.
