The Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (ECC), established in December 2014, unlocks Hillsborough County’s growth potential
and helps strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The ECC serves as a common location for local business owners to find entrepreneurial assistance.

Within the ECC, budding and experienced entrepreneurs will find shared space and resources for community partners engaged in assisting entrepreneurs; one-on-one consulting, classes, mentoring, events, and networking opportunities; and ECC-hosted online resources, calendars, scheduling and co-operative events.
• 75+ service providers, non-profits, educational institutions and government agencies utilize the state-of-the-art facility to meet with their clients, network, and conduct training sessions and meetings, all serving and growing the entrepreneur ecosystem.
• Home of Operation Start-Up (OPSU), a collaborative effort between Hillsborough Community College and Hillsborough County to provide Veteran Entrepreneurs dedicated workspace as well as receive free resources to start their business.
• Host of 1 Million Cups, a weekly, national program funded by the Kauffman Foundation that provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their new business concept and receive feedback from the community. Tampa hosts the largest chapter in the Southeast.
