The Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (ECC), established in December 2014, unlocks Hillsborough County’s growth potential and helps strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The ECC serves as a common location for local business owners to find entrepreneurial assistance.

Within the ECC, budding and experienced entrepreneurs will find shared space and resources for community partners engaged in assisting entrepreneurs; one-on-one consulting, classes, mentoring, events, and networking opportunities; and ECC-hosted online resources, calendars, scheduling and co-operative events. • 75+ service providers, non-profits, educational institutions and government agencies utilize the state-of-the-art facility to meet with their clients, network, and conduct training sessions and meetings, all serving and growing the entrepreneur ecosystem. • Home of Operation Start-Up (OPSU), a collaborative effort between Hillsborough Community College and Hillsborough County to provide Veteran Entrepreneurs dedicated workspace as well as receive free resources to start their business. • Host of 1 Million Cups, a weekly, national program funded by the Kauffman Foundation that provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their new business concept and receive feedback from the community.
