When we chose Oeiras to settle in 16 years ago, we aimed to keep up with the innovation and development that this municipality witnessed since the turn of the millennium with the creation of office parks until then never seen in Portugal.

Besides offering the perfect conditions for Portuguese and multinational companies, locations such as Tagus Park, Lagoas Park, and Quinta da Fonte had unrivalled built quality, careful urban planning and vast green spaces, essential elements to promote creativity and innovation.

This movement has continued to this day, and these parks continue attracting the most prominent international tech companies. In addition to the excellent location and good conditions they offer, the large interior areas have also allowed them to innovate in the way offices are structured.

When working and attracting talent is continually changing, companies must materialize these new ideas in their offices. The municipality of Oeiras has been a reference place in Portugal in this regard. With a more sustainable approach and based on employees’ well-being, companies no longer want to build mere workspaces but dynamic environments that encourage communication and the sharing of ideas.

Because Vector Mais has built some of these innovative offices, I observe firsthand that the office of the future (which is already a reality in the present) is a place where employees want to be. A space that promotes inclusion and diversity; that drives innovation through casual encounters between people; an environment where a positive business culture assumes an essential role in the team’s unity and motivation.

As we observed at the beginning of this century, where Oeiras has become instrumental in promoting a new concept of office parks, the municipality will continue to lead in this field.
