Broadest range of products in the industry
We offer the broadest range of quality products in our industry for treating coagulation disorders, primary immune deficiencies, hereditary angioedema, inherited respiratory disease, and neurological disorders. CSL Behring products are also used in cardiac surgery, organ transplantation, burn treatment and to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn.
Breakthrough medicines and innovative technologies
One of the promising compounds in our R&D pipeline is CSL112. Also known as Apolipoprotein A-1 human, CSL112 is being developed to reduce the risk of early recurrent cardiovascular events that occur in the weeks and months following a heart attack. CSL112 enhances the body’s primary mechanism of removing excess cholesterol from atherosclerotic plaques that can contribute to its rupture.
We are also developing ex vivo hematopoietic stem cell gene therapy for the treatment of sickle cell disease and β-thalassemia, which complements our current product portfolio and deep expertise in hematology. Our unique platform technologies are designed to address some of the major challenges currently associated with the commercialization of stem cell therapy, including the ability to manufacture consistent, high-quality products and improve engraftment, efficacy, and tolerability.
