Our expertise
Created in 2010, CRISPESH is an applied research and transfer center (CCTT) affiliated with Cégep du Vieux Montréal and Dawson College. We support organizations, communities and society to be more accessible to people with disabilities. Our expertise lies in the educational, professional and social inclusion of people with disabilities, while focusing on invisible disabilities, youth and First Nations.

Our approach
Our approach is to inform and raise awareness among organizations, training them to understand disability as a situation arising from a gap between an individual’s needs and the environment in which the person lives. Through collaborative and iterative processes with active stakeholder participation, we draw on research knowledge and experience to support organizations in adapting, developing and maintaining a flexible and accessible environment, particularly for people with disabilities.

Our position
We fulfill our role as an agent of change for a more inclusive society for people with disabilities.

Partnership benefits
A partnership with CRISPESH is a collaborative, participatory and developmental social transformation process. Projects carried out in such a collaborative dynamic provide our partners and clients with a better understanding of the various challenges of inclusion as well as their interactions with people with disabilities and their impact.

We support organizations throughout the process of codesigning and implementing concrete solutions tailored to their specific needs. More broadly, organizations engage in a continuous improvement process and are equipped to increase their capacity to innovate for inclusion.
