BRBATEL WAS FOUNDED IN NOVEMBER 2020 BY ENTREPRENEURS LUCAS FLORES, GABRIEL NASSER, AND MARCOS MENDONÇA WITH THE GOAL OF BRINGING TECHNOLOGY TO THE DEBT CAPITAL MARKET (DCM), USING A UNIQUE TECHNOLOGY FOR ORIGINATION AND STRUCTURING DEVELOPED BY THE COMPANY ITSELF.
The company originated more than 1,100 deals through its over 150 partners, and structured more than R$ 2 billion in credit operations for clients in the real estate, energy, agribusiness, and corporate sectors.
Originators have access to an exclusive dashboard where they can learn about brbatel’s products, as well as specific information about the private credit sector, and track the status of originated operations.
Thanks to its proprietary technology, brbatel is able to be much more competitive than its rivals and charge a fair price, while also delivering what clients need quickly.
According to Lucas Flores, CEO and co-founder: “despite the uncertainties of the year, in 2023 we started a new project focused on the energy sector. Additionally, we continue to operate in all sectors of the economy.”
Despite its short time in the market, brbatel has already gained significant recognition. Today, more than 300 institutional investors access the platform, including treasuries, assets, and family offices.
The company was one of the selected companies to participate in the Tecnoparque program of the Curitiba City Hall and was also awarded by Exame as an outstanding growth company in 2022.
According to Gabriel Nasser, co-founder: “in 2024 we will start a new initiative in the company, as a private credit broker, as well as in a project focused on bringing more truth and transparency to the fixed income sector.”
