ATHOMA is the name of the building where Antwerpen Zuid Kliniek is located. It is a new construction project with a central location in a very visible place due to its distinctive architectural design. It is easy to reach by car, bike, train, tram, bus and even Antwerp airport is nearby.
With this concept, the goal is to achieve pleasant and personal therapies for our patients. To do this, a relaxed environment is created where not only the patient feels welcome and understood, but the therapist as well.
This new building meets all the current building standards with regards to energy consumption, heating, ventilation, fire safety and IT. For the design of the practices, it was decided to work with renowned firms. The sterilization is set up by Tuttnauer and Steribel and the operating rooms are equipped by Dräger with the most recent up-to-date devices.
There are elegant waiting rooms on the first and second floor which can be reached by stairs or elevator. In this way, they are also accessible for people with disabilities. The furnishing of the waiting rooms and the presence of a lot of natural light, creates a relaxing atmosphere. The patients can use WIFI, work on a large table if they wish or just relax in a cozy seat. The small outdoor terrace also gives a touch of serenity
This modern facility also has common spaces and a break room where you can take a break or where presentations can be given.
On the ground floor there is free parking for about 10 cars.
There is the opportunity to hire a practice room or operating room full time, half time or one day a week. In this way, everything is taken care of for the mindset of the new generation doctors, dentists and paramedics who like to work on a temporary basis and on their own timetable.
In this way, they share the rooms and the available facilities, and only pay for their rented time span, as a result of which the cost becomes more interesting. Besides that, it also gives the possibility to escape from their daily practice, creating new opportunities.
