From Taguspark, AQVA MORE develops a water saving system for homes and services.
AQVA MORE, a startup based at the Taguspark Incubator, has developed a technological system, intuitive and easy to install in any home, which allows for considerable water savings. For example, in a household of four people, the Aqva More system can avoid wasting around 20 thousand liters of water per year. With this technology, AQVA MORE won the Start Up Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2019 award.
With the new AQVA MORE system, when you turn on the taps for bathing or to obtain hot water, the water will only come out when it is hot. For as long as the water has not yet reached the desired temperature, the system retains the cold water within the pipeline that would have previously been wasted. This is how the AQVA MORE system works, which allows you to save thousands of liters per year in homes or service spaces.
To start saving, just install two modules, one on the boiler or water heater and the other on the tap. The system is easy to assemble, without requiring effort at home.
The operation is simple. The control module (installed in the boiler or water heater) records the water savings (digital control) and manages the peripheral modules. The peripheral modules are installed on the tap or taps where you want to save water. The system allows for several modules to be installed throughout the house or service spaces. Pairing the various devices and communication between; is done easily and wirelessly.
The advantages are numerous: it preserves natural resources, lowers the water bill costs, reduces the ecological footprint, can be installed in houses, apartments or local accommodation, hotels and also in offices, companies or workshops, as well as in sports buildings, gyms and spas of all kinds.

A Aroundinspire Lda., startup sediada na Incubadora Taguspark, desenvolveu o AQVA MORE, um sistema tecnológico, intuitivo e fácil de instalar em qualquer habitação, que permite poupar água de forma considerável. Como exemplo, numa habitação com quatro pessoas, o AQVA MORE pode evitar o desperdício de cerca de 20 mil litros de água por ano. O sistema é comercializável e já pode ser reservado. Com esta tecnologia, o AQVA MORE venceu o prémio Start Up Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2019.
Com o novo sistema AQVA MORE, quando abre a torneira para o banho ou para obter água quente, a água só sairá quando estiver quente. Enquanto a água não atinge a temperatura desejada, o sistema retém na canalização a água fria que seria desperdiçada. É assim que funciona o sistema AQVA MORE, que permite poupar milhares de litros por ano em residências ou espaços de serviços.
Para começar a poupar, basta instalar dois módulos, um na caldeira ou no esquentador e outro na torneira. O sistema é fácil de montar, sem necessitar de obras em casa.
O funcionamento é simples. O módulo de controlo (instalado na caldeira ou no esquentador) regista a poupança de água (controlo digital) e gere os módulos periféricos. Os módulos periféricos são instalados na torneira ou nas torneiras onde se pretende poupar água. O sistema permite instalar vários módulos pela casa. É fácil de emparelhar os vários dispositivos e a comunicação é feita sem fios.
As vantagens são inúmeras: preserva os recursos naturais, baixa o preço da fatura da água, reduz a pegada ecológica e pode ser instalado em casas, apartamentos ou Alojamento Local, Hotéis e também nos escritórios, empresas ou oficinas, assim como nos edifícios desportivos, nos ginásios e todo o tipo de balneários.
