This paradigmatic change is not totally new to me, since the essence of Lagoas Park has always been the focus on the people who live the space on a daily basis, their needs and expectations.

Lagoas Park is a leading project in Iberia and it’s currently managed by CBRE, which, in the end, means that the focus on people is even more notorious as the property management team really lives up to the highest standards of user experience.

International large size companies are our main clients and one of their concerns is to attract and retain the best talent in order to gain advantage against their competitors and the office plays an effective role in this process, both for its location and amenities provided but also for the environment it can create as a catalyze for human interaction and a culture preservatory.

We are walking at a fast pace towards a hybrid model and digitalization is not a vision of the future anymore, forcing us to live in an even more ambiguous and demanding world where people are absolutely central.

It’s an undeniable fact that most of us can send regular e-mails from our home, a coffee shop and even from our Uber in motion between meetings, but is also undeniable that as humans we need interaction with our peers and as workers we need to identify and mirror our company culture. Office space will change but this doesn’t mean it will reduce or disappear, it means it has to be even more attractive, more equipped and up to date in order to attract people and provide them with unique experiences and moments of creativity and cocreation.

Companies need to be aligned with this new paradigm but as an office park we also take great part in this process by finding the perfect symbiosis between companies, people, environment, and technology.

For years we’ve been discussing work / life balance and somehow, we’ve never been more aware of the need to find balance as we are now, finally acknowledging that happiness plays an important role in people’s performance and thus in company results.

Ana Isabel Costa
Ana has over 20 years of professional experience in the Real Estate and Construction Market in the areas of construction, leasing and property management.

With over 20 years’ experience in Project Management, in the last four (4) years Ana has been the Property Director of Lagoas Park. A Business Park with 133.000 sqm development, with 14 office buildings, one 4-star Hotel, a Commercial Gallery and a Health Club.

Ana has a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (U Lisboa).

Presently, Ana is the General Manager of Lagoas Park, coordinating the respective team and supporting the improvement of service, reporting to the Director of Property Management Office & Logistics.
