Founded in 1994, Mechelen, Achilles Design started as a classical product design agency, founded by two designers (Koen Elsen & Jürgen Oskamp) whose passion it was to design ‘beautiful things’. The product design offering was quickly followed up by a branding service and over the years, Achilles Design added a Service offering and expanded its offices. Later on, it expanded into Engineering, Digital and Innovation Design. After surpassing a staff level of 40 employees, hiring a CEO (Axel Funhoff) – who subsequently also orchestrated a capital increase for Achilles Design in order to accelerate the firm’s growth – it was clear that Achilles had grown into the company that it is today.
In short, we offer Product & Engineering, Branding, Innovation & Service and Digital services – literally everything that companies need to offering a concrete value proposition.
