The new Moov Hotel Oeiras is the 5th hotel of the chain and is no exception to the informal and practical mood of the hotels. It has 115 rooms of the Twin, Double and reduced mobility typologies, on eight (8) floors with great natural light, safe, cable tv, work desk and brand-new comfortable beds and bathrooms.
It was distinguished in Portugal with the Clean and Safe seal, for its efforts in cleaning and proceeding according to the Portuguese government and OMS standards, preventing Covid-19 dissemination.
Moov Hotel Oeiras is located only a few minutes from Lisbon’s centre, being strategic due to its proximity to the beach, shopping centres, restaurants, the most important business centres of Oeiras, Lagoas Park and Taguspark, and the main city accesses. The city of Oeiras is a very important business city that keeps growing over time, while always honouring its history. Today the city is looking towards the future, welcoming tourists while valuing its heritage.

The Chain and Future
The Moov Hotel chain was founded by the Endutex group that started its activities in 1970 in textile and is now recognized worldwide as one of the leading European producers of textile coverings with branches all over Europe, USA and Brazil. Under Victor Abreu’s management of the group and the current chain CEO, André Ferreira, it was founded with the sole purpose of creating a two-star, eco-friendly hotel with maximum comfort in a modern ambience at an affordable price for all ranges; mostly for business travellers.
There are currently five (5) Moov Hotels, four (4) in Portugal (Porto, Évora and Oeiras) and one (1) in Brazil (Curitiba), but in the near future we’ll be opening our new unit in Porto Alegre and a few others in Portugal, all with the same philosophy.
Innovation
Multiple measures were taken in the Moov Oeiras to improve ecological efficiency that includes procedures, infrastructures and mechanisms:
- The Acoustic isolation is achieved by the use of window frames with rubber and double “silence” glass, every floor has a 10mm acoustic membrane to isolate all noises and impact between floors, Wincaders flooring due to its efficiency in reducing noises. The false ceilings and walls built out of perforated plaster in the common areas, helps creating a noiseless and more peaceful environment. Between each room the walls are made from reinforced concrete and between each room and the hallway are made of double plasterboard including la mineral and every door has high acoustic performance;
- Use of only LED lights in the whole hotel and light sensors; and
- Use of tap sensors in every bathroom to reduce the waste of water and shower gel dispenser with a quantity enabler
All Moov Hotels waste is managed accordingly to HQE standards.
