As Minister of Innovation and New Technology, I have the privilege of meeting individuals and organizations that are shaping Manitoba’s future everyday. Manitoba’s innovation ecosystem is built on strong partnerships between businesses, post-secondary institutions, research organizations, non-profits, governments, and community leaders. Together, they are creating an environment where new ideas can grow into successful ventures and where innovation can deliver meaningful benefits for all Manitobans.

Manitoba is home to world-class researchers, skilled workers, globally recognized companies, and organizations that support entrepreneurs at every stage of growth. Manitoba also benefits from a collaborative culture that allows innovators to build connections, access expertise, and move quickly from concept to commercialization.

Innovation plays a critical role in Manitoba’s economic future with new technologies transforming the way we work, produce goods, deliver services, and connect with one another.
