Publishing Partner, Global Village Publishing

Thapelo Letsholo is a Botswana entrepreneur, publisher and former legislator. He leads Global Village Publishing partnerships and initiatives across Africa and the Middle East, advancing a growing portfolio of flagship series, regional editions, bespoke publications and commissioned editorial projects.

His work centres on developing publishing platforms that help countries, institutions and leaders present their progress, capabilities and ambitions with authority. Across markets, he works with public and private sector partners to shape editorial projects that document enterprise, innovation, leadership and social contribution, while strengthening how organisations and ecosystems are understood by wider audiences.

Letsholo is also the founder of Bolden, a pan-African platform operating across publishing, strategic communications, convening and growth, built on a broader entrepreneurial background in reputation, brand strategy and market development. Across his work, he has developed a distinctive practice spanning editorial strategy, partnership development and market-facing platforms.

His publishing portfolio includes established properties such as Best of BotswanaINNOVATE™ Botswana and Women of the Future Botswana, alongside a wider and continually expanding body of country editions, thematic titles, institutional publications and custom publishing assignments across African and Middle Eastern markets.

From 2019 to 2024, Letsholo served as a Member of Botswana’s National Assembly, including as Chairperson of the Finance and Estimates Committee. That experience brought a public-policy and institutional perspective to his work, particularly in relation to national development, economic participation and the role of credible platforms in shaping how countries and organisations are positioned.

Today, he is focused on expanding publishing and reputation-building initiatives that connect local achievement to international visibility, support strategic partnerships and create enduring platforms for recognition, influence and growth.
