As the co-founder of Cescaphe, I never set out to disrupt the hospitality and events industry, I set out to create an experience I couldn’t find elsewhere. When we launched Cescaphe, the traditional wedding and event model was fragmented, making for an unpleasant client experience, when it should be a great experience and a memorable time. I believed there was a better way.

From the beginning, Cescaphe has focused on vertical integration. We brought wedding and event planning services under one umbrella. This allowed us to control quality, innovate faster, and deliver a seamless client journey. We became the innovators of the all-inclusive wedding package, which allows couples to have all of the bells and whistles of a high-end, luxury wedding without feeling constantly nickel-and-dimed throughout the planning process. All elements of a Cescaphe wedding are included in the price per person agreed upon in the original contract. This includes a six-hour affair, concierge planning services, professional events team, the Cescaphe signature raw bar, top-shelf open bar, 3-course seated dinner, custom-designed 4-tier wedding cake, Viennese dessert display, upgraded linens, full place settings, custom ice sculpture, and designer chairs. In an industry fueled by the “upsell,” Cescaphe measures its success in creating an unforgettable day from the start, not by how much revenue can be added to the final invoice.

The second shift we focused on was integration and ownership. Rather than simply managing spaces, we invested in them. We took on architecturally significant, complex properties that required vision and long-term commitment. By restoring and repositioning these venues, we created not just event spaces, but destinations with identity and story. I believe in treating event venues like hospitality brands, not rental halls.

Beyond operations, disruption requires mindset. I pushed our team to think like entrepreneurs inside the organization. Innovation wasn’t limited to design trends—it extended to technology, sustainability, training, and scalability. We implemented systems that allowed us to grow without compromising standards. That discipline gave us the ability to execute complex, high-profile events while maintaining consistency.

Most importantly, I recognized early that experience is the product. Clients don’t just want a beautiful room; they want confidence, partnership, and emotional impact. By focusing on storytelling, brand positioning, and long-term relationships, we transformed events from transactions into experiences people remember for a lifetime.

Disruption isn’t about noise, it’s about building something better, more integrated, and more intentional than what came before. That philosophy continues to guide every decision I make in hospitality.

Cescaphe orchestrates extraordinary events at Cescaphe Ballroom, Tendenza, Vie, Down Town Club, Water Works, The Lucy, The SwitchHouse, Grand Belle, XIX, Glen Foerd Estate (2027).
