Operating out of Estonia, a nation known for its deep connection to nature and a rapidly developing technology sector, Shroomwell stands as a pioneer in the global mycotechnology landscape. The company’s core mission transcends the production of traditional supplements; it aims to bring greater health to both people and the planet by harnessing the extraordinary power of functional fungi. Their overarching philosophy is captured in a simple but powerful internal credo: “There is a mushroom for every problem.”

Shroomwell’s “elevator pitch” is that they are a full-stack mushroom technology enterprise, controlling the entire process from soil to supplement. They are not merely product sellers but architects of a new, sustainable ecosystem that leverages fungi for both human wellness and environmental solutions. The company does what it does because, as Group Leader and Founder Siim Kabrits once noted, the potential of mushrooms, which have supported life forms for billions of years, remains largely underestimated in the modern world. Shroomwell is dedicated to bridging that gap, blending time-honored natural wisdom with cutting-edge scientific rigor.

From Health Supplement to Global Mycotechnology Group
Shroomwell’s journey is one of strategic evolution. The company was first established in 2014 under the name Chaga OÜ, focusing primarily on the powerful Chaga mushroom and its health benefits. This initial phase established a strong foundation in raw material sourcing and quality control, leveraging Estonia’s naturally clean environment.

The pivotal shift occurred in 2023 when the company rebranded as Shroomwell. This change symbolized an expansion of vision, moving from a single-mushroom health brand to a diverse mycotechnology group. The leadership team, including Kabrits, along with Siim Raadik (CEO of Innovation) and Silver Laus (CEO of Wellness), drove this transformation, restructuring the company into distinct units covering wellness, innovation, and large-scale farming. This new structure allowed the company to pursue a dramatically wider portfolio of fungal applications, including critical CleanTech projects.

Innovation, for Shroomwell, means pushing the boundaries of what fungi can accomplish, not just in a laboratory, but at scale in the real world. It involves taking the ancient knowledge of medicinal mushrooms, once valued by indigenous cultures, and validating its potential through modern, applied science. “We are combining the wisdom of ancestors with modern-day science,” says Kabrits. “This is how we make effective and functional health products and, crucially, environmental solutions that leave a soft footprint.”
“There is a mushroom for every problem.”
