Timbeter is an Estonian company whose digital solutions bring transparency, traceability, and efficiency to timber measurement from the forest to the factory. Its core products include a mobile app for logs and lumber measurement, a cloud platform for data management, and a dashboard for traceability and reporting.

By applying AI, Timbeter strengthens sustainable forest management, improves worker safety, maximizes the value of each log, optimizes logistics, and supports fair trade. The system also ensures full traceability across the supply chain, offering digital proof of origin, including geolocation, and reliable data for auditing.

The company continues to innovate, developing a next-generation digital forest inventory tool that merges on-site and satellite data. It is also helping clients prepare for upcoming regulatory requirements like the EU Deforestation Regulation.

Timbeter partners with major international companies such as CMPC (Chile), Suzano (Brazil), Weyerhaeuser (USA), and Mekong Timber Plantations (Laos), along with state forests across Europe. Its solutions are used in more than 30 countries, with strong adoption in Brazil, South Africa, Chile, Ecuador, Poland, and Lithuania.

Founded at the Garage48 hackathon, Timbeter launched globally in 2016 and has since become a recognized leader in digital timber measurement. The company has steadily expanded its features, product portfolio, and international reach while keeping sustainability, efficiency, and safety at the core of its mission.

Education and knowledge transfer are also central to Timbeter’s work. The company collaborates with universities in Poland, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Taiwan to train future forestry professionals.

Headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, with a representative office in Recife, Brazil, Timbeter continues to modernize forestry practices worldwide, contributing to a more transparent and sustainable sector.
