INNOVATE™ Stockholm

As education systems around the world shift rapidly toward digital operations, one company is quietly standing out. SchoolTry, a Stockholm-based tech company, has created a cloud-based platform that brings school management, digital learning, and career readiness together in one seamless system.

Founded by software engineer Ismail Eleburuike, SchoolTry tackles a problem many institutions know all too well: fragmentation. Schools and universities often juggle multiple, disconnected tools for admissions, finance, teaching, and reporting. SchoolTry aims to replace that patchwork with a single platform that makes day-to-day operations easier.

A Platform That Simplifies, Not Complicates

SchoolTry is a cloud-based SaaS platform that automates core administrative tasks like admissions, finance, HR, timetabling, grading, and reporting. On top of that, it comes with a full-featured Learning Management System (LMS) for digital content, assignments, assessments, and virtual classrooms.

But what really sets it apart is its scope. Alongside management and learning tools, it includes career readiness modules that link academic learning with real-world employability skills. Instead of focusing on a single feature, SchoolTry acts as a full “education operating system,” supporting institutions from enrollment through graduation—and beyond.

Built to Scale Globally

SchoolTry was designed with growth in mind. Its modular setup lets schools pick and choose the components they need while leaving room to expand later. The platform works across languages, supports offline data capture in low-connectivity areas, and integrates with external systems like finance software or content providers.

Its SaaS model also makes deployment fast and affordable for schools, while giving the company predictable revenue. This flexibility has helped SchoolTry gain traction in both public and private education sectors around the world.

Leadership That Combines Tech and Growth Expertise

The team behind SchoolTry blends technology know-how with commercial experience. Founder and CEO Ismail Eleburuike previously worked at Ericsson and Facebook, building large-scale digital systems before launching SchoolTry.

Roland Williams leads the company’s expansion efforts, bringing extensive experience from top European firms, IBM, and The Coca-Cola Company. He sees huge untapped potential in EdTech. Supporting them is a board and advisory team with expertise in finance, education transformation, data, legal compliance, and systems engineering, guiding product development, strategy, and market growth.

Proven Traction and Real-World Impact

SchoolTry is already in use across universities, schools, and technical training centers in multiple countries. Its focus on efficiency has helped institutions cut down on manual reporting and paper-based processes, while giving administrators instant access to enrollment, attendance, grades, and financial data. Educators benefit too, with streamlined grading and lesson management.

This operational focus has helped SchoolTry move beyond pilot projects, establishing itself as a reliable, production-ready platform.

Positioned for International Expansion

With the global EdTech market set to grow significantly in the coming years, SchoolTry is focusing on expanding into new regions. The strategy is all about partnerships, localization, and integrating with both national and private education systems.

Roland Williams is leading these efforts, drawing on his extensive experience in top European firms, IBM, and The Coca-Cola Company. He sees a huge opportunity in education technology that’s often underestimated.

“Education is one of the biggest sectors in the world, yet it still relies on many manual processes,” Williams says. “What stood out to me about SchoolTry is its practicality—it’s not about flashy features, it actually helps schools work better.”

The leadership team believes the next phase of growth will be driven by institutions looking for comprehensive digital solutions rather than single-purpose tools.

“Many schools don’t want another system—they want fewer systems,” adds Ismail Eleburuike, SchoolTry’s founder and CEO. “That’s really what SchoolTry is about: simplifying things so educators can focus on teaching and students can focus on learning.”

Looking Ahead

SchoolTry’s long-term goal is to become a foundational digital platform for education worldwide. By combining administration, learning, and career-readiness tools in a single system, the company supports institutions as they navigate new demands for accountability, flexibility, and workforce relevance.

Rather than disrupting the education landscape, SchoolTry aims to enable modernization—helping schools improve without forcing them to abandon existing structures. For the company, simplicity, integration, and scalability are more important than standalone features.
