Numana is a Quebec based not-forprofit organization (NPO) and acts as a macro-accelerator by creating, promoting and energizing ICT technology ecosystem projects. In this endeavour, Numana brings together ecosystems composed of companies using technologies and technology providers (hardware, software and applications), public organisations, and research and test centers to foster positive economical and social impacts for the province of Quebec.
Our goal is to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in Quebec through think tank studies driven by committees where experts discuss emerging ICTs or disruptive models, and through the development of living laboratories or pilot projects that follow the committees’ vision and strategies.
Numana stands out:
Our unique Think Tank in Quebec allows us to have a 360-degree look at emerging technologies related to ICT and digital technology. This leads us to imagine the future of our ecosystems and to find answers to the needs of society:
• By conducting research and analysis to identify technologies that will impact Quebec in the coming years
• By preparing test environments for these technologies to foster the development of new ecosystems
• By raising awareness and supporting entrepreneurs in the research and development phases of their solutions
