Northeastern Seattle Campus
Established in 2013, Northeastern’s Seattle campus immerses students in an innovative and diverse community focused on technology, data, and project management. We combine the academic rigor you expect from a top-tier university with the culture, industry, and tech-focused spirit of the Pacific Northwest.A Campus in the Heart of Seattle
Northeastern’s Seattle campus is located in the South Lake Union neighborhood, a highly walkable hub of innovation and discovery.
The campus currently occupies nearly 80,000 square feet of office, collaboration, classroom, and research space across three buildings in the neighborhood. To date, we’ve graduated more than 1,600 learners, with most finding employment in Seattle after graduation. Current enrollment is approximately 1,300 students, with growth expected in coming years.
Connecting to the Seattle Tech Industry
“I chose Northeastern in Seattle because they were really into investing in the community and making sure that tech was accessible to everyone, not just people with STEM backgrounds or from privileged worlds.”
— Brian Lam, Align MS Computer Science
At Northeastern, we harness Seattle’s high-energy tech environment to create leaders with the technical skills and global mindset needed to meet workforce skill gaps.
Our industry-aligned, student-centered programs prepare students to confidently advance their careers. Each STEM-designated program combines faculty expertise with industry-provided challenges to bridge the classroom and the workplace.
Innovative Programs
In addition to traditional master’s degrees, we offer programs to help students of any background break into tech:
- Align Master of Science in Computer Science
- Bridge to Information Systems
These programs help close the STEM industry’s diversity gap by making tech careers attainable for all.
Experiential Learning Model
For over 100 years, Northeastern has been a leader in experiential learning. Students don’t just learn—they apply their knowledge from day one.
“Northeastern co-op students are incredibly well-prepared, possessing the skills and knowledge to consistently succeed in interviews and roles.”
