When I founded Marimo, I wasn’t just building a fashion brand—I was creating a different kind of experience for women. One that respects their time, individuality, and values. To me, true luxury is about knowing who you are and choosing pieces that reflect that.
What I’m most proud of is how personal the journey is for each client. From the moment someone places an order, we begin a dialogue. We confirm details, review measurements, and often suggest a made-to-measure approach. What starts as one order often evolves into a long-term relationship with ongoing wardrobe guidance and styling support. This personal connection is the essence of Marimo.
Every garment we create is made-to-order or produced in limited quantities, using exceptional materials—silk, cashmere, wool—chosen not just for beauty but for longevity. This is slow fashion in the truest sense: nothing rushed, nothing wasted. It’s a model that reduces overproduction and helps our clients make more thoughtful, lasting choices. Overtime, they become more attuned to quality—how a garment should feel, fit, and move with them.
Being based in Estonia has shaped how I think and work. Our country is known for its digital innovation and doing more with less. At Marimo, we reflect that mindset: we pair old-school tailoring—hand-finished details and the careful training of our tailors in delicate materials like silk—with forward-thinking digital solutions. I see Marimo as part of that same current—quietly setting an example of how a small brand can influence a global industry by doing things differently.

As I’ve learned: “Entrepreneurship, like long-distance running, teaches you that consistency beats intensity—and showing up every day wins the race.” As we grow internationally, we remain deeply rooted in the values that brought us here: quality, honesty, and innovation. Marimo is my contribution to that vision—and Estonia’s. A reminder that even a small, dedicated team can lead meaningful change.
