PROTECTING OUR NATION’S CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FROM THE HEARTLAND
Invary is a cybersecurity company focused on ensuring the security and confidentiality of public and private critical infrastructure. Founded on a technology license from the NSA’s Laboratory for Advanced Cybersecurity Research, Invary validates that systems are functioning as intended, safeguarding them from threats that could undermine the effectiveness of traditional security tools like EDR and SIEM.
Invary was founded by Jason Rogers, Dr. Wesley Peck, and Dr. Perry Alexander, with the support of The KU Innovation Park. Mr. Rogers and Dr. Peck bring extensive experience in securing and operating large-scale platforms to Invary, including their role in helping Matterport achieve an IPO in the summer of 2021. Dr. Perry Alexander, a Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Kansas, has a long history of conducting Trusted Mechanism research with the NSA and DARPA.
The combined expertise of Invary’s founders uniquely positions the company to deliver a powerful solution that integrates cutting-edge confidential computing with practical, large-scale operational experience. This blend of deep technical knowledge and hands-on operational expertise allows Invary to offer a solution that is both highly secure and practical, meeting the needs of diverse customers, from small organizations to large government entities, seeking to protect their infrastructure in today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape.
By focusing on Runtime Integrity, Invary ensures that systems continue to operate as expected, even in the face of rapidly evolving AI-driven threats. By measuring systems for proper behavior, Invary can detect any threat, regardless of when it was generated.
In today’s fast-changing digital landscape, applying Zero Trust principles, such as Invary’s approach to Runtime Integrity, is critical for maintaining security. Still operating out of The KU Innovation Park today, Invary supports a wide range of customers, from large DoD entities to local community health systems. Expanding its reach, Invary has a research partnership with the NSA, and is active in the Confidential Computing Consortium alongside Google, Nvidia, Microsoft, AMD, and Intel. As the company continues to grow, it remains committed to expanding its impact from its home base in the Kansas City region, protecting the nation’s critical infrastructure.
