Yasaar Biladama, a lifelong coder and technology enthusiast, had been experimenting with artificial intelligence long before it became a business buzzword. Driven by a passion for computers since childhood, he began building local server infrastructure at home to explore ways of running advanced AI models securely – without relying on external cloud services.

“I wanted to harness AI to its full potential which required more data so I needed it to be private to be secure,” says Biladama. “So I revisited old knowledge of building computers for gaming and built a local version for myself. Everything had to run locally, privately, and efficiently.”

At the same time, Christopher Oscarsson who is an experienced entrepreneur from the public sector, medtech industry and finance sector. With a growing fascination for AI and its potential to transform industries, he encountered a frustrating barrier: public institutions and organizations with security concerns were keen to use AI tools but were prohibited from doing so due to cloud-based privacy and compliance concerns.
