Montreal - Canada

The largest city in Québec and the second-most populous municipality in Canada, Montreal is set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River. The city is composed of 19 large boroughs (some of which were once independent cities) that are subdivided into neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal to the bohemian Plateau.

Montreal has a booming video game industry, is a centre of film and television production, and also plays an important role in the finance industry as the sector employs around 100,000 people in the Greater Montreal Area.
