About the CQRDA
Among the first organizations in Quebec to promote and encourage the transformation of Quebec’s green aluminium, the CQRDA is the intermediary between public research centers and aluminium producers and transformers. With funding from the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie (MEIE), the CQRDA provides financial assistance, in the form of non-refundable grants, to SMEs, large companies and research centers that assist companies in their projects involving aluminium.

Since 1992, more than 930 projects have been received by the CQRDA’s scientific committee, which is composed of experts from various industry sectors.
Les Presses de l’Aluminium
In 2003, the CQRDA created Les Presses de l’aluminium (PRAL), a publishing house specializing in technical works on aluminum, its production, transformation and use. PRAL’s mission is to publish, produce and distribute scientific works, highlighting aluminum and intended for the teaching and research community, the industrial and business community, as well as the associative community, both nationally and internationally. To date, more than 23 books have been produced.

AL13
AL13 was created in 1995 with its two annual publications. Creative and visionary people felt that it was necessary to create and offer a tool that would allow a better understanding of all facets of the aluminum industry. We can thus see the evolution of several of its creators, companies and producers, its applications, scientific discoveries resulting from research and development and promising partnerships with various research centers, as well as the various sectors in which aluminum is integrated.
More than 50 issues later, AL13 is getting a facelift and is officially entering the digital age, in order to showcase the best of what is being done in the aluminum ecosystem.
