The Centre de développement et de recherche en intelligence numérique (CDRIN) supports the innovation and development needs of small, medium and large Quebec businesses through applied research, technical assistance and specialized training in the fields of animation, modelling, graphic rendering, synthetic data generation and artificial intelligence and vision. We have developed a unique expertise based on video game engines (real-time graphics rendering engines).
Our CCTT is dedicated to increasing the technological capabilities of the digital creative industry—in particular the entertainment industry, which includes video games and multimedia, VFX and animation and digital experience—and the maritime regions of Eastern Quebec and La Matanie.
From Matane and Montreal, we take part in every stage of the applied research process, from technology intelligence and proof of concept to prototyping, knowledge transfer and implementation.
Through providing personalized support based on each client’s situation and challenges and fostering partnership and close collaboration, the CDRIN has become a beacon of excellence in the development of digital intelligence technologies in Quebec.
In addition to helping businesses remain industry leaders, we cultivate a dynamic conception of R & D, making digital solutions a driver of social innovation. As such, we are also involved in technology transfer and commercialization in the health and education sectors.

The CDRIN is affiliated with the Cégep de Matane, which is known for its programs of studies in digital creativity, such as the Techniques d’intégration multimedia and the 3D Animation and Computer-Generated Imagery programs.
