The story of All American Sitters is deeply rooted in its founder’s personal journey. Teresa Bowens discovered her calling for childcare at an early age. At 17 just years old, she became a single mother balancing school, work, and motherhood, and seeing other children in childcare settings not being given the same attention or, worse, ignored. Out of necessity and compassion, she opened her first in-home daycare at the age of 18 to help other parents who, like herself, struggled to find affordable, trustworthy, reliable childcare. What began as a response to a need grew into a lifelong mission, one that has expanded to support families at weddings, corporate events, churches and community gatherings. “I wanted to create more than just childcare,” Bowens explains. “I wanted to create an experience where children feel seen, valued, heard and safe, while parents enjoy adult moments.”

Game time! The children had a blast playing our life-sized version of Hungry Hungry Hippo, where laughter, prizes, and teamwork stole the show.

Spring vibes were in the air as little hands built and painted birdhouses—an activity that blended fun with learning about nature.
